MTV recently announced the green light of season six of "Jersey Shore" including pregnant star, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, but now they have a bit of a situation on their hands.
According to TMZ, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has entered rehab for substance abuse.
Sources say the reality star has checked into an inpatient treatment program, while a rep for the 29 year-old says he "has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."
With the constant partying and endless nightclub appearances portrayed on the show, this may not come as a shock to many people, though "The Situation" took to his Twitter page earlier today, saying, "Getting in amazing shape for season 6!"
What lies ahead for the future is unknown right now, but filming for "Jersey Shore" is still set to start this summer.
